"San Antonio's Hoppiest Homebrew Club"
The Bexar Brewers are San Antonio's oldest active homebrew club with literally hundreds of years of collective brewing experience. Our membership includes multiple award winning brewers, BJCP Certified Beer Judges, and professional brewers. The Bexar Brewers are host to San Antonio's only AHA/BJCP homebrew competition, the Alamo City Cerveza Fest - now in its 11th year. Along with monthly meetings on the 3rd Friday of each month, the Bexar Brewers actively participate in many homebrew events such as group brews on the club's 40 gallon brew rig, Parktoberfest, The Golden Age of Homebrewing, and Learn to Homebrew Day. For more information on the Bexar Brewers, please sign up for our email list and follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
The ACCF is hosted by the Bexar Brewers, is an AHA/BJCP sanctioned competition, and is a qualifying competition for the Lone Star Circuit. This contest is open to all home brewers. The competition is restricted to non-commercial, home-brewed beer, mead, and cider ("BEER"). Beer produced on the premises of commercial breweries, including brew-on-premise establishments, are not eligible. See BJCP 2015 Style Guidelines for a complete listing of acceptable categories and subcategories.
